Why It Matters

Stop Mass Deportations

America can enforce its immigration laws while still protecting due process, keeping families together, and judging people as individuals instead of treating every case the same.

Enforcement Should Be Fair

Immigration law should be enforced, but enforcement should also be orderly, lawful, and based on individual circumstances. A broad mass-deportation approach can sweep together people with very different histories, family ties, legal claims, and situations.

Freedom Again supports a system where people receive a fair opportunity to present their case before removal decisions are made.

Due Process Matters

Immigration courts decide whether people may be removed, released from detention, granted protection, or allowed to remain in the United States. Those decisions can permanently affect families and communities.

Recent immigration litigation and policy debates have centered heavily on whether removal procedures provide enough opportunity for meaningful review before deportation.

Keep Families Together

Many immigration cases involve people who have spouses, children, jobs, homes, and long-standing ties in the United States. A fair system should consider those facts rather than relying only on broad enforcement targets.

Protecting family unity does not mean ignoring immigration law. It means recognizing that enforcement decisions have consequences for U.S. citizen children, spouses, employers, schools, and communities.

Fix the System Instead of Overwhelming It

The immigration court system already handles a very large caseload. The U.S. Department of Justice continues to publish current workload and adjudication statistics for immigration courts, including pending cases, completions, representation rates, and appeals.

A better long-term approach is to improve the immigration process so cases can be reviewed fairly and efficiently, rather than making speed the only measure of success.

Secure borders and due process are not opposites.
America can enforce the law while still treating people fairly, protecting families, and giving each case meaningful review.

What We Support

We support immigration enforcement that focuses on public safety, respects due process, protects family unity, gives people a meaningful opportunity to present lawful claims, and improves the immigration court system so decisions are both fair and timely.

This position is not about eliminating immigration laws. It is about rejecting a one-size-fits-all mass-deportation approach and replacing it with a system that is lawful, practical, and humane.
